I love to practice massage therapy and yoga because of the great health benefits ranging from stress relief and the improvement of circulation, to better energy flow, and range of motion; not to mention the strength, flexibility and coordination that comes with yoga! As Americans, we need to be reminded that it is necessary to take our time and live each day to the fullest. Prior to my training as a massage therapist and yoga teacher, I was guilty like everyone else, rushing around and forgetting to have time set aside for myself. However, I have noticed in the past couple years, by treating myself to a massage on a regular basis, practicing yoga everyday, and maintaining a healthy diet, my life is much more full and abundant. I am able to manage my day to day tasks with a greater sense of accomplishment and fulfillment at the end of each day; free from what would have been stress, worries, and anxiety. I find it amazing that taking just an hour each week to get a massage and 15- 30 minutes (or more) of yoga each day, makes a world of difference in my life.
